  19. - overall it sounds good
  20. - it doesn't seem to provide V.34+
  21. - faster compress doesn't help download, unless the server has
  22.   Supra. Decompress take much less CPU than compress, rarely a
  23.   bottleneck. And the graphics they claim download faster will not
  24.   compress, so no gain for JPEG and GIF files.
  25. - didn't see anything about flash upgrade
  26. - until I see the docs I assume that the software is all DOS-only
  27.   and that UNIX users are getting to roll their own software.
  28. - price is okay, but > Sportster and >> Zoom. That doesn't mean it
  29.   isn't worth it, just a comment for now.

  31. They should totally kill the Sportster vi, assuming the software is
  32. even decent. No matter how USR says it, if you can't hear the damn
  33. modem it isn't useful.
